We hop on the Eurostar in Paris again for a day trip to Brussels, Belgium. My hubby's goal was to "drink his way across Brussels" until he found out that one of the pubs he wants to go to serves 2000 beers on tap: Delerium Cafe. Looks like we'll hit that pub first and go from there!
Belgium is all about lace and chocolate. There are some chocolate shops to explore in the land of Belgian sweets. Where do you think the Belgian waffle came from? Some people even do chocolate tours through Brussels. And to shop for lace we plan to head to Saint Hubertus Royal Gallery (pictured above, enter through the Rue de la Montagne or Rue des Bouchers, 1000 Brussels). The Saint Hubertus Royal Gallery was inaugurated by Léopold I in 1846 and is a glass topped mall split into galleries.
