Photo: California Life+StyleA while back I found out about this book, Astrid & Veronika by Linda Olsson, over at Little Postcards. The writing is eloquent and tells the story of two women at different times in their lives living on the same street and how an unlikely friendship develops healing delicate wounds. If you want to read good writing this book is for you.
Favorite line: "When I stepped out the front door the world was a muted twilight where people walked in ankle-deep snow, lifting their feet like hummingbirds."
